So, so excited. I have simply begun to not like the main characters. Like that. Malice and Misrule, the spellbinding books of the Malice duology are out now. I accept the pastry but give him a playful pinch anyway. Where the first book felt like it was constrained by the events of the movie, Misrule felt like it allowed the story to breathe and become its own thing. Her blossoming career on Broadway tanked, forcing her to crawl back to home to Wellington. Little witches.
